Anyone know why #moviegods still show up in all the search engines but
isn't in Abjects anymore ore where it is?

The channel exists. It's just cmode +s so its hidden from the /list
assuming if that is how you are searching for it.

Just now getting back into IRC after some years. Use to serve myself
in the hey day lol
I am using Adirc...is there something special I have to do to either
see it or get into the channel?

It’s cmode +s so it will always be hidden from the /list (unless you
are in it).

Nothing is stopping you from joining the channel unless you are banned
for the channel.

Try joining the channel.

yeah I think Imma have to get old Mirc back. I know how to join
channels that aren't visible in that I think...Can't figure hide nor
hair on this Adirc.

You just connect to Abjects and enter ```/join #moviegods``` in the
editbox where you type stuff.

Yeah was just new to AdIrc so took me a minute to find where you can
type in the channel instead of using the drop down. THanks for the
help !

I'm getting back into IRC as well after a few years and I'm using
Hexchat. I have this weird problem when I do /server
[irc.abjects.net](https://irc.abjects.net) and then /join mg-chat and
/join moviegods everything works fine, but when I try to add it to the
network list (so I can connect automatically the next time i open the
program ) as [irc.abjects.net](https://irc.abjects.net) and then press
connect it doesn't work and says  Connection failed (self signed
certificate.? (18))

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Just checkmark the "allowing invalid certifcates" (not an exact
translation.. since i don't use the english client but i'm sure you'll
find it) within the network settings for abjects.
