Are there any IRC servers which allow VPN usage?

I don't really want to advertise my real address as even if you use a
host mask, your IP is still displayed on servers you join until the
host mask is activated. I joined Rizon thinking they would allow a
VPN, but 2 weeks later, I joined and was banned for "open proxy
connection." I understand why some servers do not allow VPN
connections due to abuse, but that is not my point. I'm just looking
for some fairly popular server that allows connecting form a VPN.

Rizon allowed me to do it at first saying that I first needed to log
in with my real IP address, so I did. I was still banned though.
