What networks are you joining? Networks like Undernet,
[libera.chat](https://libera.chat) and efnet, anyone can see your ip
when you join. You should join networks like rizon, irc-nerds or
technet. Your ip is hidden when you connect to those networks. only
staff can see your ip in /whois
