How do I implement password based authentication? (KiwiIRC + Inspircd)

Hello!

Im using KiwiIRC and Inspircd on my server and ive managed to make
everything work, except password based verification.  How would one
implement password based authentication?

I am VERY new to IRC btw!

If by password authentication you mean user accounts, you’ll need to
install a services package such as atheme or anope.
