I am having an issue using ssl. I have had Mirc for a very long time
but never messed with ssl.

\#moviegods channel suggested I use it. this is in the #moviegods
#chat channel

(To Check Out MIRCs DCC SSL Support Read And Install Our mIRC DCC SSL
DLL --> search in #mg-chat for !s mirc ssl dll

\-ls- We Are The Only XDCC Channel That Supports Secure SSL DCC Sends
(Kvirc 4.3.1 or Mirc + DLL required) - USE XDCC SSEND Instead Of XDCC)

So I unistalled my version of Mirc and installed the the suggested
version. chaecked all the settings and did a xdcc ssend as instructed.
I get a reply.

 Sending you via SSL pack #484 (") \[1.8GB,
MD5:53f8ca0e11dd90b1c05c005435e99e97\] - (resume+ssl supported)

and nothing happens

I do a xdcc send no ssl and I get the the file always. What am I
missing?

Double check that you are connecting to the irc server on an ssl port
and not the standard 6667 - 7000 range as they are non ssl.

Address: [irc.abjects.net](https://irc.abjects.net)

Port: +9999

You'll know if it is right, as you log into the server, in the status
window you'll see something like this:

\* Connecting to irc.abjects.net (+9999)

The SSend command should then work for you.
