building an irc network for fun?

sometimes i get bored and work on projects for fun. lately, i've
thrown together a few unrealircd sessions on a couple different
virtual servers to make a tiny (e.g. me and a few bots i'm playing
with) irc network. anyone else do this sort of thing and want to link
up for a bunch of idling to see who pings out first?

it would be cool to eventually grow a legit network out of something.
gotta start somewhere and every good thing has a nifty origin story,
right? if you're interested, leave a comment and we can get together
to discuss further.

edit: currently working on irc.blackbawks.com as a experimental
server, feel free to join and do whatever. i am in #cc playing with
bots and stuff.

I recently took over a old irc network that was shut down.   (Was only
offline for a month or so).  Currently it’s mostly just me but if your
looking to grow a network maybe you’d be interested in being apart of
this network.   You can PM me since I don’t know if I should be
posting links in here.

sounds interesting, what ircd are you using and do you have services
set up as well?

Currently the network is using InspIRCD and Anope services.
(basically just went with what I am recently familiar with and what
people are used to on that network)

sorry it took a while for me to put a little time into my config
files. got a few servers sitting around linked up, only meand some
bots right now.

irc.blackbawks.com #cc is where i am goofing with things

feel free to bring your friends and do whatever. no services set up
right now because the network is literally me and eggdrop bots.

please use ergochat instead, its better and more secure for users
