irc noob, hexchat autojoin channels issue reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- klepp0906 · 2022-11-06 18:50 So i missed the IRC boat by about eh.. 30 years :P muscling my way through getting it set up in my free time and I have it working almost how I want it to. There are two servers I'm having a problem with. they require for example MSG System invite (which I have set up and functioning under connect commands) the problem is, a few of the channels that I have set under "autoioin channels" require this to be passed through first as the channels are "invite only" I'm trying to get this running all automated upon startup and a google came up with suggesting I go into preferences > advanced > Auto join delay and increase this to rectify the issue. I quadrupled it from 5 to 20, but seems to have done nada or at least not fixed it. Any more seasoned users have the fix for me?
