after joining a server and identifying with my IRC key I have it set
to auto join my preferred channels. Unfortunately I also get an auto
message from System that I have to close every time manually (thus
far).

tried the ole /timer 20 leave #system but that doesnt work as its not
an actual channel.

is this possible?

Perfect. Will give it a go when I get done with work. Assuming it’s
gonna work though so thank you very much.

EDIT: worked!
