I know IRC can be a bit slow as far as convo goes. Does anyone know of
any channels that are more active than others? I'm currently lurking
in bitcoin, security, and english.

Anyone else out there?

Try ##politics if you want chat cancer.

It all seems kinda dead. Looking back to when I were young... there
was active use, now it seems to be, post a question, wait 2 days, give
up.

I recommend the following for Libera.chat: #chat, ##defocus, ##llamas

However Libera.chat overall isn't a very social/chatty network, you
could try other IRC Networks for chatting, try looking at this list
for Networks: https://www.ircdriven.com/networks/list/
