Can I change the toolbar icons for the latest mIRC with ones from mIRC
5.4?

I extracted the icon file from 5.4 and made a seperate file per icon.
I had to create the Tile Vertical picture since that did not exist.
Some of the buttons did not exist back in 5.4 so you are missing
those.

Extract the 'icons' folder into the same folder as your mirc.exe

You can, but its has bugs and security issues. I would strongly
suggest AGAINST running old versions.

I know about the issues I just want to try to connect with an older
version but I dont know how as it always says "Unable to resolve IRC"

Are you trying to use IPv6? Only 7.0 and newer support IPv6.

If you're just getting started try using hexchat for now just to get
your feet wet with IRC, then you'll have a basic understanding of most
features that you can apply to mIRC :)

All I see when I press edit is irc.quakenet.org and I cant see any
settings.

Is there a list of all the icon names? Like connect, disconnect, etc?
I tried to replace the disconnect one but it says it's not a button
name.
