Been using MIRC for ages to download public domain files, and wated to
know if there are any other programs that allow me to pause and resume
large downloads that i can't download in one sitting.

Are you just talking about downloading on IRC? The ability to resume
is all based on the client you're receiving the file from. mIRC can do
this function fine.

If you're having issues pausing and resuming downloads on IRC, it's
more than likely the source you're getting it from.

Public domain files…sure, that’s believable.
