Used to run a small IRCd network with a few friends of mine back in
the days, I remember we for example had a #news channel that a Eggdrop
(bot) propagated with news from a range of news outlets (fetched
through RSS).

I was sad to see that ten years later, it seems the whole community is
barely a fraction of what it used to be. I know, there is Discord and
so on, new more fancy tech, but does anyone know if there is any
eggdrop/eggheads (the bot) still around? I wanna set up a new bot for
2022!

IDK

Idk but you could just find a network and make your own.

That is what I am going to do. What I asked about is where the whole
eggdrop community went?

Limnoria is probably one of the most popular IRC bots around these
days, if you don’t care about eggdrop specifically.

I have a few different
egg drops running on my network. Have an app in the appstore that
connects to the channels that brings in users
