I didn't, I have no intention of stopping using freenode, there was
some intial push to move to libera in all of the channels I use, but
most people also stayed, and the freenode channels remain the more
active ones.

Lets face it, who amongst us gave 1/8th of a shit who ran freenode
until last week? Why should we start caring now?

Lee has already started messing with channels in direct violation of
Freenode policy. Probably going to be a slow spiral down from here.

My experience is the opposite one, the Libera channels have already
taken over in activity. They have fewer users but that's presumably
just due to a high number of mostly inactive lurkers on Freenode.

I stayed on Rizon watching all this from the sidelines.

Andrew Lee may be scummy, but I have no particular love for IRCops
either. If I was there, I doubt I'd move. It all seems some baroque
power play shenanigans.

I have an odd feeling the proliferation of Libera spam isn't from
Libera themselves. Probably from someone wanting to make them look
bad.

And I have a feeling it may be from the same bunch who brought you
supernets spam back in the day.
