From my understanding, the coordinated staff exit was planned as
backup plan. For some event that did not happen (yet). Somehow one of
the resign drafts have been leaked - and published.

For now: No staff has actually resigned (yet), but the leaked drafts
are unfortunate - as now they have not only to deal with their
internal problems (it looks like there is a big one), but also answer
a lot of public questions about that.
