Any android client that works with DCC? I am new to this and I got IRC
for Android to work to download anime. But the speeds are atrocious.
Can't use my laptop for a while and all the torrents are dead. Are
downloads supposed to be slow or is it a client thing?

Sometimes multiple people are downloading from the same bot which can
slow download speeds, or if the bot you are downloading from doesn't
have a good high speed connection that can have an effect as well.
