On XCHAT, how do you add a custom network?

I decided to use Xchat for my IRC needs(mirc is paid) but I am having
trouble adding a custom server, such as irc.snoonet.org : 6667 how do
I add one

XChat is abandoned and has some known vulnerabilities, HexChat is the
active fork.

If you are using windows try AdiIRC. It's free and it uses mirc
scripting language too.

Remove the spacing, thus:

irc.snoonet.org/6667

If you need custom login for that particular irc network then remove
the tick mark from 'Use global user information' and complete user
name & password listed further below (not pictured).

Once you type in the server address, make sure you press enter to save
it. Otherwise I believe it'll still say 'newserver'

a hexchat shortcut, sorry.

The screenshot you posted shows you doing that.

Unless I'm realizing you might mean as a desktop icon, then you would
have to set it up manually.  Pass the URL of the server you want it to
connect to as an argument.
