Repost: Still Looking for an old mIRC script, Bounty Offered reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- aftli · 2021-01-09 07:06 Was going through my post history because reasons, and thought I might put out another request for this. I'm looking for an mIRC "script" from roughly the late 90s. I'm looking for it because... well, I was the author. It was fairly popular at the time, mostly with Undernet users as that's where I hung out - perhaps some of you might even remember it. The name of the script was SwEEt rEVenGE by xFurYx. The name of the downloadable archive was "sr20_nep.zip". I wrote many things back then, this is the only thing that was popular enough that I can hope to find a copy today. Super ultra bonus if you have the zip file with all of the "war" programs and the InstallSheild(tm) wizard, but that would be super rare because most script reviewers didn't like the huge download size. Unfortunately for me, it's been lost to the ages. Over the years, I've thought of it often, and was able to grab it from various places including archive.org. In 2020, though, I can't find it anywhere. Nowadays, I'm definitely a data hoarder - I'm sure I'd never lose it again. I know it's a long shot, but, perhaps one of you kind folks still have a copy of it? It would mean the world to me. If you do have a copy, I'm prepared to offer a small bounty. :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- aftli · 2021-01-09 07:07 /u/kegdoctor you didn't respond to me last time, perhaps you're still around? I bet you have it! <3 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Morphie-peer · 2021-01-09 22:47 Good luck! I checked to see if I have it but I don’t. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- aftli · 2021-01-09 22:49 Thanks for the effort! :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mahengrui1 · 2021-01-14 03:59 ed2k has not this ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kegdoctor · 2021-03-14 04:10 just got msg which one u looking for ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kegdoctor · 2021-03-14 04:11 > ReV PoWeR PrO i will check and if so i will upload it ---------------------------------------------------------------------- aftli · 2021-03-14 04:12 Thanks for the response! It's called "SwEEt rEVenGE" by "xFurYx" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kegdoctor · 2021-03-14 04:20 not so far will have to look at my old cd collection but your looking for revpowerb17.zip ---------------------------------------------------------------------- aftli · 2021-03-14 04:23 It's not that, actually. The name of the zip file was actually "sr20_nep.zip". There was also another version that had all kinds of extra external programs bundled with it, I don't remember the name but it definitely started with "sr20". I'd *love* to find that one but people didn't like the large download size, some sites wouldn't host it, and it wasn't widely distributed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kegdoctor · 2021-11-07 02:01 >sr20\_nep.zip sorry dont have that one ---------------------------------------------------------------------- aftli · 2021-11-07 02:50 Really appreciate you looking, thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Environmental-Lie697 · 2022-03-06 16:40 By the way have you seen a mirc script called Frozen or FroZen Irc in your collection? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kegdoctor · 2022-03-29 06:12 sorry not yet ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kegdoctor · 2022-03-29 06:13 sorry not yet but i will keep looking ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kegdoctor · 2022-04-01 07:27 not that i noticed yet ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kegdoctor · 2022-04-01 07:27 np very welcome ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kegdoctor · 2022-04-01 07:29 i have uploaded a ton but not so sure that one is in there sorry just take a a look ---------------------------------------------------------------------- aftli · 2022-04-01 12:55 Ah man, looks like it got removed from Mega already. :( ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kegdoctor · 2022-04-03 02:49 what got removed? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kegdoctor · 2022-04-03 02:54 [https://www.reddit.com/r/irc/comments/ghmldo/old\_irc\_scripts\_saved \_on\_cds/](https://www.reddit.com/r/irc/comments/ghmldo/old_irc_scrip ts_saved_on_cds/) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- aftli · 2022-04-04 00:24 Thanks, it seems to be back up now, it was definitely pulled for copyright at some point (at least it said it was). Disappointing my script doesn't seem to be in there, though. :( Was thinking this was a promising lead. Oh well, thanks so much for sharing either way! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kegdoctor · 2022-04-09 20:56 yvw
