How to post ANSI art using weechat?

Tried following this guide here: https://github.com/ircart/resources
updated my weechat and my bashrc but whenever I post arts, even if
something that should work like from an artpack or from
https://ruinirc99.firebaseapp.com/ the ANSI never gets rendered proper
and is instead just a mess of blocks and number codes, and the pure
ascii art doesnt load its colors.

I truly dont know what to do.

Did you save the config? You also need to rehash your .bashrc `source
~/.bashrc`

Or whatever shell you are using. Try irssi and see if you have the
same problem. if that's the case it's something wrong in Weechat.

Did you ever find a solution for this? Seems like on paste it's
stripping the color code control character (\^C or \\03). When I
attempt to paste art with the almost the exact same setup
([Kitty](https://sw.kovidgoyal.net/kitty/), ssh, & tmux) using irssi,
it seems to work fine. I also tried a different terminal emulator
(GNOME terminal) and I got the same behavior. I'm using WeeChat 3.2,
but the same thing happened when I tried downgrading to older
versions.

I asked if anyone was having the same issue or knew a fix in #weechat
on Libera, and the person who helped me out wasn't able to replicate
what was happening. I'm pretty stumped at this point.
