Hi all. I've downloaded a new theme for hexchat, but I can't seem to
find anything saying what folder to put it in. Or how to set it as the
theme, once I've done that. Anyone know how it's done? Thanks!

It goes into /home/user/.config/hexchat (assuming you are using Linux,
Windows should be similar)

Exit Hexchat and copy the contents of the theme to the above folder
and then start Hexchat, your new theme will be loaded.

All it does is modify the settings in the Colors preferences, right?
Doesn't change anything else?

Correct, it won't change any customized aliases, popups or other
settings.
