I HATE white backgrounds, and use only software that doesn't force me
to blind myself...


KVirc allows customization of damn near everything insofar as colors
are concerned. However, the \[Transfers\] tab shows each transfer as
white background, and doesn't seem to allow any customization for the
colors... (I literally just got rid of hexchat for the same bullshit)


Is there any system out there that doesn't completely miss the point
of color customization and doesn't have this kind of awful problem? I
really like the many, many options in KVirc, but good gawd if they
can't ruin it with a blinding white background every time I need to
run file transfers.

It's not on linux, and I don't use Wine unless there is no other
choice.
Windows itself is not customizable enough to remove white from the gui
either... (And some of the file transfer stuff is done from the
server, not on the main box, which will never run Windows) *I would be
happy if I could finally setup dual virtualization and have both
running side by side. If not for games, I would never use windows
again... And if they ever make compatibility more functional, not even
then.
