Any good tutorial on connecting to Freenode over Tor using irssi?

i) but for whatever reason, torsocks is throwing an error
`torsocks[2211]: [connect] Connection to a local address are denied
since it might be a TCP DNS query to a local DNS server`

I have successfully generated the client certificate for SASL
authentication and can successfully connect to Freenode using SASL
EXTERNAL over clearnet. Any help in resolving the torsocks issue is
appreciated.

P.S. I am trying this on a RPi Zero W that I can leave running always
connected.

Edit: Managed to get it working by following this

Tor nods are usually blocked

Hmm.. but the first link in my post is Freenode's official Tor node so
I would expect them to accept Tor connections?

You dont connect to chat.freenode.net for tor, they have a special
onion link.
