Too expensive imo. Also had downtimes too often for my taste.

The lounge has all the features I loved about irccloud and is
selfhosted 😁

Igloo IRC's developer retains and peruses all messages and highlights
you receive (this is done through his 'push' notification
module\[2\]). The same goes for any interactions using his
image/content hosting service\[1\]: he tactlessly goes through the
content uploaded looking for personal information. He goes as far as
to correlate the information he has access to, to build a profile of
the user (so for example, if you post personal details, he will check
the IP you used to upload, then search for other content uploaded
using that same IP).

Ask yourself, would they stop there when they have clear malicious
intent to snoop on user data?

If you value your privacy, you should reconsider your usage of this
app.

Currently using AdiIRC - seems less complicated than MIRC and is free.
