Wondering how to create an If else statement inside of XChat Azure

Hello, I recently started using XChat because I am a moderator on
Twitch, and was looking to automate new subs and resubs like other
moderators I see throughout the platform. I already set up the server,
so the connection to the chat is already stable, however I'm still a
little confused as to how to detect certain text events inside the
chat and have a certain automated response. If someone could help out
with this, it would be greatly appreciated!
