Operator not able to send messages in +m channels (Inspircd) reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jeremy14444 · 2020-07-13 15:11 Title, I made myself an operator on my inspircd server, but when I try to type in chat it says that I need to have voice permission to type in chat because +m is set in the channel, however when I try to give myself the voice permission it says I need to be a channel operator, even though I typed /oper username password correctly and irssi says that I have +o permissions... Easiest way is to just be the first one in the channel and you'll be operator automatically. Is there someone there you can ask to leave? clear everyone out and be the first to rejoin it.
