I've noticed that smaller new servers are more active . You walk in to channel with 100 or even less user but you'll really talk there. This is not a false statement at all. I'm not a fan of Discord either, but the truth is I was looking for an IRC to discuss metal music the other day and spent 2 hours hopping around servers before I said fuck it and opened up Discord. Within 30 seconds I was in an engaging convo about how I want to marry Tatiana Shmailyuk (of Jinjer).
