MIRC Script Question reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ChickenJiblets · 2020-06-04 17:23 Hello, I want to join 2 different servers with 2 different nicknames automatically on startup and then identify with different passwords. Is that doable? Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- htepO · 2020-06-04 17:33 You're probably looking at something like: on 1:start:{ server server.firstnetwork.net server -m server.secondnetwork.net } on 1:connect:{ if ($network == firstnetwork) { nickserv identify firstnick firstpassword } elseif ($network == secondnetwork) { nickserv identify secondnick secondpassword } } ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ChickenJiblets · 2020-06-04 17:33 Awesome this is really helpful. How do I do the /nick though? I tried and it kept putting the wrong nick for each server ---------------------------------------------------------------------- htepO · 2020-06-04 18:34 You can set those at the /server line with server server.firstnetwork.net -i nick alt_nick email realname server -m server.secondnetwork.net -i nick alt_nick email realname Alternatively, you can simplify the whole thing by adding services identification to the /server line Assuming you're identifying using NickServ, you can use on 1:start:{ server server.firstnetwork.net -i nick alt_nick email realname -l nickserv firstpassword server -m server.firstnetwork.net -i nick alt_nick email realname -l nickserv secondpassword } and remove the on 1:connect:{} section entirely. Check /help /server in mIRC or [mIRC Help](https://www.mirc.com/help/html/index.html?servers.html) for more information. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- [deleted] · 2020-06-04 18:34 [deleted] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ChickenJiblets · 2020-06-04 19:58 I did it! Thank you!! I changed it a little bit to use on *:notice of nickserv saying "this id is protected" but it works great. Thanks
