use a vpn, connect to irc with SSL, don't dox yourself. that's about
all there is in terms of keeping your anonymity.

they're cheap. PIA is $40 for a year + 2 months free right now. i
don't know anything about i2p, if it can hide your ip address that's
all you really need

Don't use PIA. It's owned by some shady shady companies.
