How o set up Quassel client on macOS?

Following the [disappointment](https://www.reddit.com/r/irc/comments/f

with Adium, I am trying to use [Quassel IRC Client](https://quassel-
irc.org). I have installed it via HomeBrew:

    brew cask install quassel-client

now following the instructions
[here](https://freenode.net/kb/answer/quassel), from [the menu
bar](https://i.imgur.com/GwrZY7p.png), selecting `Quassel IRC Client >
Preference`. However, the `Networks` option on the left panel is
grayed out as you may see [here](https://i.imgur.com/qmuuWKN.png). I
want to simply connect to Freenode and use the client.

I would appreciate it if you could help me with this issue.

You’ve installed the pure client, which requires a quassel-core to
connect to.

This is useful if you want to connect from multiple computers, or your
PC and phone to the same quassel-core. In that case, the core will
actually connect to IRC, and the client will just provide the UI (so
you can connect from multiple devices, and they’ll all be synced).

You probably want to install just quassel with `brew cask install
quassel`, which allows you to use it just like any other IRC client
(but isn’t compatible with the quassel-core).
