HexChat connection issues on Windows.

HexChat v2.14.3 (Win10/x64) keeps disconnecting from the server.
(connection reset by peer).
I have net_ping_timeout set to 0. Still nothing.

Other clients seem to work just fine. This happens only with HexChat.

Any ideas? :)

I'm guessing you might be connecting over Wi-Fi. I have friends that
had this issue too. I circumvented this by giving them bouncers so
they kept being disconnected but at least at was transparent for
everyone involved.

It seems like a timeout thing even if as you point out, it shouldn't.
I have no idea how to fix it but I can confirm that it seems like a
common issue.

Not on Wifi actually. All Ethernet here.
As I mentioned, It doesn't happen on other IRC clients so it's not a
basic network issue

Oh. Can't really tell then. something to try if you haven't already
would be to see if it happens on other networks or just one in
particular.
