I was able to successfully download a couple of epubs by using the @find functionality but when trying to do a @search and download the search results I get the following error: ctcp/dcc Receive from Search of SearchBot_results_for__anathem.txt.zip Failed: Connect Failed (127.255.255.255:4543) (Received 0KB of 2KB) I get the same error when trying to download a .rar ebook. What would cause this issue where I can download certain files but not others? I'm using the HydraIRC client on a windows machine. Also I've noticed that usually the requests the fail come in through ports in the 3000s-4000s range and the successful requests come in on port in the 1000's range, I don't know if that's just a coincidence or not. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- earthrock3r · 2020-01-26 06:59 You should check in your settings to make sure you do not have those type of files blocked. It can't point to any external device that would be able to serve you this file. The result from the bot is probably just wrong (maybe it's the default value if it doesn't know the right host?).
