HexChat on Windows 10 keeps disconnection (Disconnect: No such device
or address)

Hello, I was banned from freenode earlier today for a few hours. I
just started using Hexchat yesterday and see the error in the title a
few times. I guess it was flooding channels so the ban was warranted.


I've tried using a different IRC client but it also gave me disconnect
issues (different worded error though). Is it my connection maybe? Im
running on 1.5mbps which is the fastest in my area. Maybe too many
channels? I think I was in 6 or 7. I just dont want to get perma-
banned but not sure what the error is referencing.

I also get that often with HexChat on Windows 10. It could either be
your Internet connection or just a bug in the Windows version of
HexChat.

IRC is fairly light so I don't imagine that bandwidth would be a
problem for anything above 28.8kbps dialup.
