# IRC Music Channel with Stream entirely powered by user submissions!

The stream is controlled by an IRC bot written by myself. The primary
function is that youtube, soundcloud, and vimeo links are
automatically queued to a "live" music stream and also stored to be
re-used later for filling gaps in the stream when users are not
actively adding new songs.  It also tracks which songs are added by
which users and can provide some statistics (with likely more to
come).

It can also search youtube and soundcloud and automatically adds the
first result to the stream. This allows you to quickly add popular
songs without having to go and search for the URL yourself!

There's also some functionality to return information about music
groups from the last.fm API (genres, similar artists, etc).

This project is actively evolving and is largely driven by the desires
of myself and my users, so if you have any suggestions, by all means
