Reddit Chat via IRC (like Bitlbee)

Hello IRC users. I am looking for a way to interface with the Reddit
Chat feature with IRC (a la bitlbee). Not sure if this has been done
before or if I need to make myself something. Just looking for someone
to point me in a direction. Thanks for any help!

Reddit Chat is built around a proprietary system named Sendbird with a
bunch of customization.

Came here looking for the same :( It gets used more and more and I
don't want yet another app open all the time :(

It shouldn't be too hard though I guess. It's mainly text at this
point so it would lend itself to an IRC bridge pretty well. Or Matrix
perhaps.

It would be nice indeed if someone built a Reddit Chat to IRC bridge,
with libpurple or something. But unfortunately I've also been unable
to find anything that does that.
