Load weechat scripts???

Testing my perl skills in weechat, but loading scripts is a bit
daunting in weechat.

Thought I could just add a path to my script---> /script load <path to
script>, in my case its on my Desktop.

C:\\Users\\ME\\Desktop\\[script.pl](https://script.pl)

But this returns 'script not found' :(

So where should I  save my scripts to ??

Mind you I'm on WIN7 using cygWin.

Ok this is what i found:

If your using cygwin on Win7 put your scripts in :
"C:\\SPB\_Data\\.weechat\\perl" or if your using different language
it'll be either python, ruby or what ever.

weechat is a hidden folder hence the folder name starts with a "."

Then in weechat do : "/script load nameofscript".

You might have to unload first so just use 'unload' .

I mainly use /fset.
