Is using AndroIRC recommended?

It hasn't been updated since since 2015(?). Is it recommended. I need
a client with dcc to download books.

I tried this one already and found out that the zip files downloaded
couldn't be opened in the app. It showed a message ' Couldn't find
source file ' or something like that. Tried the app again a few hours
ago again and found out that the zip files *were* getting saved in a
directory. Been using it since then and yes, it is great!
