Is anyone still into vanity domain names, be it to be used for IRC or
web vhost?

For IRC it depends on what network you are on. Most networks now days
have hostserv and services. The only place I can think of where vhosts
are still a thing is EFNet.

I have found a few channels assume you're a bot and ban you if you
come in with a clever host name, otherwise yes I am.  I definitely
spend too much every year on domain renewals.

Yeah I'm aware of that and I have some domains parked there as well.

I was just wondering if people actually cared about vhosts or whatever
still nowadays since I have some domains I'd like to sell off that
these people might find interesting and want.
