Hello all,

We are currently using charybdis and considering to move to
unrealIRCD.

Who's with and who's against and why ?

Have you considered using [InspIRCd](http://www.inspircd.org)? We have
full support for all ratified IRCv3 standards (unlike Charybdis and
Unreal) and we also have [a bunch of
modules](https://docs.inspircd.org/3/modules/) allowing you to
configure your server with whatever features you want.

Yes we did. However, i've heard it's not compatible with all irc
clients.
Are you still supporting the project ?

To conclude, i did not like how the ircd.conf looked. But yeah, i only
hear good stuff about it.

InspIRCd is still maintained yes. Some older clients have some minor
issues with it because they don't follow the IRC standard properly but
most modern clients are fine.

We finally settled for UnrealIrcd.

+1 for Inspircd, has been incredibly reliable :P

I have it spun up on 3 nodes (+2 one for Hub/Dev'ing), along with an
Atheme services node linked to it :P
