Web-based or Windows client with typing indicator and logging

Is mibbit the only client that shows when other users are typing in a
channel?  I've been using mibbit and like it, but it's not always
accessible.  I'm looking for a more stable alternative.  Typing
indicator is a must-have for me, and I really like the log
interface/viewer on mibbit.

KiwiIRC has this if used with webircgateway or an IRC server with
native message-tags support like InspIRCd v3.

Typing indicators are not generally available in most IRC servers yet,
as they use protocol v2. Protocol v3 is still in development IIRC. Any
service that has a typing indicator either has a custom server, or has
a custom client that syncs outside of the IRC protocol, which means it
will not work for every user in a room anyway.
