IRC BNC (Bouncer) reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rsahcrypto · 2019-06-18 13:32 Hi All, I'm looking for a provider of an IRC BNC (Bouncer) - I'm aware of the main free providers but all of them are having issues and currently hardly any requests can be made for one. I'm happy to pay, or run myself off a VPS - VM. (Windows). Any recommendations on running it myself, or, a company that i can buy/pay for one? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- realnowhereman · 2019-06-18 15:39 [https://lunarbnc.net/](https://lunarbnc.net/) works quite well ---------------------------------------------------------------------- robinsmidsrod · 2019-06-18 20:45 I've been using ZNC for quite some time. Currently using it from a DigitalOcean VM. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- cmsj · 2019-06-18 22:10 Might be worth noting that IRCCloud now has bouncer support. I connect to it primarily via a desktop irc client on my Mac. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- trekkie1701c · 2019-06-18 23:42 Seconding ZNC. I use it for myself and a few friends, it's been incredibly useful in managing IRC-related things for me. Mine is hosted on Amazon EC2, though I am actually looking at migrating it to DigitalOcean. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rsahcrypto · 2019-06-19 10:38 Ended up running my own ZNC off Linux VPS. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rsahcrypto · 2019-06-19 10:40 This looks good. Thanks for sharing. Ended up running my own ZNC off Linux VPS. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- [deleted] · 2019-06-26 23:58 [removed] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sqxvca · 2019-06-30 07:28 Yep, I also run ZNC! Have it running on a raspberry pi at home and it's easy to setup [duckdns.org](https://duckdns.org) (DDNS). Use palaver on the phone to connect to said ZNC! There's many tutorials out there :-)
