IRC Web Cilents Mibbit ETC reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Captshiro · 2018-08-18 22:47 Hey all was hoping for some help/answers on this. I tend to use IRC alot and when i'm nto at hoem I tend to use the web client mibbit alot. I haven't log in with it in around a month or so (actively) but When I tried to jump on today i was faced with a "mibbit refused to connect"? is this something on my end? a DDoS? I notice users online and I search the internet for answers but none. That being said is mibbit bad are there better web clients out there? I enjoyed its appearance it was simple and easy to read right off the bat. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- webvictim · 2018-08-18 23:00 [KiwiIRC](https://kiwiirc.com) may be a good option. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- prawnsalad · 2018-08-18 23:27 As /u/webvictim mentions, [KiwiIRC](https://kiwiirc.com/) is a good replacement from mibbit. Disclaimer - I'm the dev, but it will connect to most networks correctly and you don't need to sign up or anything. Better yet - it has no ads, will remember your networks between page refreshes, much more developed so it's actually being improved, and so on. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- damonnz · 2018-08-19 03:11 Hi - I use IRCCloud for use on my Android phone & iPad...(and browser as well when I'm at work)...small monthly charge (about $5) but keeps you logged in 24/7 and it works at places that may block IRC ports. Hope that's of use! (p.s. I'm not affiliated with IRCCloud...I've just used it for quite a while now) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- FiendKing04 · 2018-08-19 05:14 Thank you for your hugely unappreciated work.<3 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- andriusd · 2018-08-29 16:51 Yes, irccloud is the best at the moment. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Captshiro · 2018-08-31 22:40 thank you for the advice I'll look into this option ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Captshiro · 2018-08-31 22:40 Ah sorry for the late reply but thank you looking at it now
