Anyone got a damn weechat theme that looks good on a light/white
terminal background?

Title says it all.  I seem to be in the minority of folks who like
white backgrounds in my terminal and my emacs.  Looking for a nice
colour scheme for weechat that works on a light background.

The light variant of Solarized would probably suit you well, though
the background is off white, rather than clean white

check out http://ethanschoonover.com/solarized , its more likely to be
used as your terminal colour scheme over a specific specific client's
scheme

You can set a colour scheme on a terminal emulator (usually, anyway)
which can change the default text foreground and background. Themes
can also alter how colour codes are interpreted. So depending on how
weechat is sending stuff, and how it behaves terminal emulator side,
you may or may not need to alter weechat.

With solarized, the accent colours for both the light and dark
variants are the same, so something like

txt-L50 may work to make your terminal emulator and weechat play nice,
if it does not do so out of the box
