How can I set up notifications for a **specific** user joining a
channel that I'm in? Is there any way to do this? I've been reading
through all the FAQ's I can find but have only found the option to
play sounds when ANY user joins/parts a channel.

Thank you very much for any advice you can give!

The feature you’re after is called “/notify” in just about every other
IRC client out there. Does unfortunately seem that Colloquy doesn’t
have it though.

Thank you very much, webvictim. That points me down the right path, at
least. I'll look into other IRC clients that support this feature.
