IRC apps for samsung galaxy s7

Hello everyone.

I've been on reddit for about 2 years now, but just found this sub for
IRC, cool.

I spent a lot of time on IRC EFnet back in the day and used mIRC on my
desktop.

A friend of mine with a samsung galaxy s7 was asking me if I knew
about an application for IRC that would work on their phone. I told
them I did not but I would look and ask around.

I have seen a mention of an "irc cloud" and I will pass that along to
them.

How about any other IRC applications for their platform? Pros/cons ?

IRCCloud is a freemium app and behaves like a bouncer. It supports
only one network aside from its own network
\([irc.irccloud.com](https://irc.irccloud.com)\) and connections are
terminated with a certain amount of inactivity. Premium subscriptions
for IRCCloud are $5/month. Check out their site at

information.

AndroIRC has not been updated in some time and may not be reliable on
newer devices.

IRC for Android was last updated on February 15th 2018 so it appears
they do have an active development team. I do not have any experience
with this app so I have no input to give on its reliability or
functionality. Give it a try for yourself and see!

look for AndChat best irc client for android imo, I use it all the
time

I use weechat in screen and then connect on my mobile with the
[weechat android client](https://github.com/ubergeek42/weechat-
android) through relay.

I recently started using revolution irc, you might want to try it out
as well, esp if you like material design.
