I'm looking for an Android IRC client with file transfer "sharing"
with no luck

I used androirc but it keeps crashing on me when receiving a file for
some reason.

I'm open to use Any tips or tricks

Appreciate your help in advance

I fond an irc client with DCC for ios!! But nothing that works for
android

Hey mate, I use "IRC for Android" and regularly use DCC with it. It's
the only Android IRC client that I had luck with DCC.

I really did not try this one because I did not want to pay the $5
before knowing if it would work out not, but after trying I'm very
happy that I did pay the amount.

I really don't mind paying for something that works but I wouldn't
have known if you haven't shared your experience.

I am in a similar situation. I had Androirc working for a year or so
with DCC but now I only get File Transfer error. Searched extensively
but have had no joy. I can use mIRC but like the convenience of using
a mobile device. Is there honestly no work around or app that is not
paid for that will work? Of course I will pay off I need to but I find
it befuddling that it is so hard to work around this situation.

I know how you feel, I really like to have everything I need or use on
my phone.
but I can tell you that finding this one for Android was really hard
and it would never happened without help.

I even tried using an IRC script by using termux but ended up failing.

Hi, I've just posted about this. I'm having the same problem. I've
tried a few of those clients, including IRC for Android.
Is there anything in the settings that could help, that I may have
missed?
I'm able to log into servers and channels, but can't download anything
other than the search txt files, I'm unable to download anything else.

Not that I know of ... Everything worked for me out of the box.
