Transfer error - Android IRC

I have an issue on my Android devices. Ive tried multiple IRC apps,
and have the issue on all. Using Android versions 4.2 and 7. When
someone is attempting to DCC me something (usually a book file), i get
a Transfer Error. I can receive the zipped txt file, but the actual
book file fails. Anyone able to assist me with this?

DCC usually doesn't work if you or the client on the other end are
behind some sort of NAT. Both ends have to be configured to send a
publicly accessible IP and port in the initial DCC SEND message. And,
if either end is behind a NAT, that IP and port will have to be
forwarded by their NAT gateway to a local IP and port. As far as I
know, there aren't any Android clients that can handle this.

I've had it work though. Got back into IRC at the start of the year.
Was working great. Then about 3 weeks ago it just stopped working.
