And when i try to add something in the remote, it copy to both of my client, why does it to this? I even got the both client installed in 2 different folders. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Nicd · 2017-07-05 12:02 Both of them probably use the same settings files in your Windows user profile folder. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- DarkRobin · 2017-07-05 15:12 how do i change that? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Nicd · 2017-07-05 15:22 Don't know, haven't used mIRC in years. Try looking in the help or asking on their forum. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mircpnp · 2017-07-09 12:20 Check out the Command Line entry in the mIRC help file. You can create a desktop shortcut using the -r flag to specify a datadir where mirc can find it's mirc.ini file (and other files) Create a shortcut for example: c:\program files (x86)\mirc\mirc.exe -r%appdata%\mirc1 and c:\program files (x86)\mirc\mirc.exe -r%appdata%\mirc2 You really only need to install mIRC once. No need to have multiple copies of mirc.exe on your system! (Unless you are playing with older versions of mirc)
