Easy to use IRC client for OS X? reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- marySquary · 2017-01-12 19:47 Sorry if this has been asked, but I can't seem to find anything current. What do you use/recommend? Your suggestion would be much appreciated, thanks :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MuffinMedic · 2017-01-12 19:49 [Textual](https://www.textualapp.com) is fantastic - great interface, good developer, easy to use, and well worth the $5 (30 day free, full- featured trial). It's also highly customizable with both notifications and themes and has native ZNC support. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- [deleted] · 2017-01-12 19:51 [deleted] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ZunderStorm · 2017-01-12 22:00 Agreed, textual is brilliant. Last time I checked it was also free if you compile it yourself. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- marySquary · 2017-01-12 23:02 Awesome, $5 isn't much at all. Will definitely be getting it. Thank you!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MuffinMedic · 2017-01-12 23:05 You're welcome, glad to hear that! If you have any questions about it, pop on over into the support channel, [#textual on freenode](ircs://irc.freenode.net:+6697/#textual) ([webchat](https://k iwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net:+6697/#textual)). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dim13 · 2017-01-12 23:19 For me, I really like [limechat](http://limechat.net/mac/). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- murphnj · 2017-01-18 16:33 I haven't used OSX for a few years, but I always liked [Colloquy](http://colloquy.info). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- HarambeTheBear · 2017-03-18 22:17 I use limechat as well. I used to use Colloquy, but due to some problem I started having with it, I switched a few years ago.
