So just recently obtained znc.Tried to set it up with hexchat.Managed to connect to an ''open to all'' channel.(there is youtube video too for that from a guy).But still havent figured out how to connect to an invite one.The channel's irc key,i put it in the key tab on znc.Do i put it somewhere on hexchat too? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- gaussHaus · 2016-12-26 20:39 It should just work with you putting the channel key in ZNC, if said channel has one. Otherwise, you could just join from your client as if you weren't using ZNC and ZNC should still save everything. Under Your Settings you should be able to select the network you are connected to and then you should see all the channels. If you were able to join the private channel should already be there and if it isn't you should be able to add it there.
