Struggling to load module into ZNC - Mutter Push reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MikeHunt99 · 2016-12-06 12:06 I don't know if this is the right place to post but i have znc installed on a ubuntu server to act as an irc bouncer. I want to load additional modules, mutter push in particular so i receive notifications on my phone. I can't seem to work out how to load modules into the right directory for then the /znc loadmodules command to then work. Any help is appreciated :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- nath_ · 2016-12-06 12:16 Add the module to `~/.znc/modules`, then use `znc-build modulename.cpp` and then in your IRC client `/znc loadmod modulename` See here for more info: http://wiki.znc.in/Compiling_modules ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MikeHunt99 · 2016-12-06 12:18 thanks, the ~/.znc/modules directory doesn't exist do i have to create it? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- nath_ · 2016-12-06 12:19 If you're sure that `~/.znc` is your ZNC dir, then yes, create it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MikeHunt99 · 2016-12-06 12:24 https://bitbucket.org/jmclough/mutter-push Thats what im trying to accomplish but the steps dont work ---------------------------------------------------------------------- nath_ · 2016-12-06 13:31 Do you have `modpython`? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MikeHunt99 · 2016-12-06 13:41 im struggling with the whole lot, cant get my head round it, ive installed modpython, but cant load the mod in irc client ---------------------------------------------------------------------- nath_ · 2016-12-07 07:40 What does it say when you `/znc LoadMod modpython`? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MikeHunt99 · 2016-12-07 15:56 Unable to find modinfo [modpython] [Unable to find module [modpython]] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- nath_ · 2016-12-07 19:21 http://wiki.znc.in/Modpython#Compiling
