Irc New : got 2 server questions

Hello !

I just setup an IRC server (ircd-irc2 on Debian) for my friends, that
very cool but i have 2 questions :

1 : Can someone tell me how to become admin (channel op?) on my irc
server ? I don't know how..

2 : Are they any way, except znc, to have a channel history ?

When you create a channel you should automatically be set as an admin.

Some IRC daemons support commands such as `/samode`. You could also
install and configure an IRC services package which could maintain an
access list where you can designate who has access to a channel.

ircd-irc2 is quite old and doesn't support /samode or similar. I
recommend looking at another ircd such as inspircd, which is also on
Debian.

InspIRCd developer here. You probably want to use our Debian packages
on the releases page rather than the ones in the mainline APT
repository. We do not support distribution modified versions.

InspIRCd (of which I am a developer) has a module for channel history
which might do what you want for #2.
